Is about 5 inches wide across the front and about 5 inches deep. Spring loaded. It is green and has the 4 shift gear positions on the front. Number on back is with VW logo in circle on right hand side and ls crossed hammers, looks like to me, on left side of.
I am not sure if this is a part number as I know nothing about VW 's or parts. Strong spring but no markings of any kind except for the front gear positions first class in a bubble pack envelope.
